Several of our seventh-grade students put their problem-solving and critical thinking skills to the test last week. They ventured to Construction Wars at Associated Builders and Contractors, where they built benches, learned about heavy machinery, wired electrical circuits, and more!

⚙ EXPLORING ENGINEERING: In the fall, Mr. Kofmehl, Ms. Ferguson, and Ms. Walton accompanied a group of CVHS students to the Applied Engineering, Safety, and Technology (AEST) Exploration Day at Millersville University. Students explored each of the AEST degree programs firsthand and met with faculty members to gain a deeper understanding. They were also invited to enjoy lunch in the campus dining hall. The event concluded with a student panel where current AEST students shared insights about their majors and experiences.
We sincerely thank the Cumberland Valley Eagle Foundation for funding transportation to and from Millersville University. Our students truly appreciated the opportunity and the chance to learn more about the possibilities within AEST programs.
